If you want to know what I’m working through on any given day, just look at what I’m working on.
If I’m cleaning and organizing, I’ve probably missed a recent opportunity because I didn’t have my act together. If I’m making to do lists, laying out my clothes for the next day, or packing a week’s worth of lunch side items in individual baggies, then I’m feeling pressed for time or overwhelmed.
If you see me weeding, re-potting, or pruning anything, then some part of me is begging for new life – so I bring health and growth where I can, until I can find a way to bring it to myself. Add to that a “manager’s special” in the floral section of Kroger – $1 for an over-watered, yellowing Calla Lily – and it’s a match made in heaven.
When all was said and done, this spring I rescued three Calla Lily plants and two miniature rose plants. Does that say more about me or more about whomever was watering plants at our Kroger?
