Intended use: holding/displaying small desserts – cupcakes, cookies

New use: jewelry holder

This is my favorite find of the summer. After years of wrestling with various jewelry boxes/chests, I finally have what I’ve always wanted – an easy way to see everything I have, and quickly put jewelry away (instead of leaving it spread across my dresser), plus something that is as pretty as the things it holds.

To think this probably sat in someone’s cabinet, coming out once or twice a year (if that) to hold petite pretties for a party – what a waste!
